I love Mondays because they are a chance to start the week fresh, with goals in mind and to-do list items waiting to be crossed off. I have found that in order to have a productive week, I must start with a schedule.
Since I have no kids and only have to take care of my husband, I generally have my days wide open which can lead to a lot of wasted time if not planned out properly. Before I go to bed each night I write down a tentative plan, like so…
7:00am – Wake up
7:30am – Breakfast
8:00am – Read my Bible/Pray
8:30am – Work/Blog
11:30am – Lunch Break
12:30pm – Work/Blog
3:00pm – Exercise
4:00pm – Chores
5:00pm – Shower
6:00pm – Dinner
I give myself generalized time blocks which allows me a little flexibility, but still provides a basic plan for the day. On Sunday night I will also plan out meals for the week, create an exercise routine, and find a motivational quote/verse. I use a printable weekly to-do list to keep track of the above and it also ensures that I do the essentials like drink water & take my vitamins. View my printable weekly plan.
